Consumers Union Bowling Party

For eight years, the Allied Media Conference found a home in Bowling Green, Ohio. Past participants remember good times in that small Midwestern town, including the AMC bowling parties at the local lanes.

Just because we've relocated the conference to Detroit doesn't mean we're about to let good traditions die. For 2007, we have partnered with our friends at Consumers Union to bring the AMC to Detroit's hottest bowling center.

On Friday night, June 22, all registered AMC participants are invited to the Consumers Union Bowling Party at the Garden Bowl, the oldest active bowling alley in the U.S.

There will be sixteen lanes of unlimited bowling, two attached bars and a restaurant to hang out it in, and a slew of DJs to keep you moving. Just remember: no bowling in your dancing shoes or dancing in your bowling shoes.

Go check out these old AMC bowling video PSAs and witness some of the country's most skilled grassroots media-makers rolling gutter balls.
